The program will include: 1) Quran recitation. 2) Quran memorization. 3) Arabic Language.

4) Aqeedah, Tafseer, Hadeeth, Fiqh & Seerah.

From 1985 t0 2011

Masjid Omar project started in 1979, and it was purchased in 1984.  

In 1987 plans were submitted to the City for the extension and their application was rejected.

In 2005  the idea of expanding the masjid was brought back. In 2006 the house next to the masjid was torn down. In 2007 the project was presented to the Community for their input and beginning of working on plans. In 2010  the permit for the extension was given.

 

Numbers To Know

Here we are finally at the beginning of the construction! Below are a few related numbers:

1- The whole cost of the extension: $1, 222, 683.00

2- The available cash: $368, 193. 00

3- Pledged money: around $142, 000. 00

 

Phases of the Extension:

1- Putting the masjid's outside finished frame, cost around

$640, 000.00. The masjid will stay open and functional during this phase.

2- Framing the 2nd floor, cost aroud $200, 000.00

3- Finishing the remaining work.
